    一、教學目標與要求

    1、能夠聽、說、認讀本課時的主要單詞:heavier thinner longer bigger smaller

    2、能認讀句型:How heavy are you ?并做出相應的回答:I'm 48kg. I'm thinner than you , and shorter .

    二、教學重點與難點

    1、重點掌握有關形容詞比較級的單詞。

    三、課前準備

    1、教師準備本課時所需的五張詞卡及A部分所學單詞。

    2、教師準備錄音機和的錄音帶。

    四、教學過程

    1、Warm-up

    (1)教師采用開火車的形式復習已學的單詞。將單詞打亂順序貼于黑板上,請學生猜是哪個單詞,猜對的同學做這個動作其他同學齊聲說這個單詞,you are right.

    2、Presentation and practice Let's learn

    (1)教師出示大小、重輕分明的圖片,讓學生分辨,問Which dog is heavy ?用中文稍做解釋,引導學生回答The yellow one .然后教師The yellow one is heavier than the brown one .范讀單詞heavier,學生跟讀。

    (2)教學單詞heavier,開火車合拼單詞,小組比賽快速熟練的拼讀。幫助學生用heavy改“y”為“i”+er來記憶。簡單介紹形容詞的比較級第二種情況是以輔音字母加“Y”結尾的,要改“y”為“i”+er。

    (3)教師用同樣的方法教學其他四個四會單詞thinner longer bigger smaller

    (4)簡單介紹形容詞的比較級第三種情況是以重讀閉音節(jié)加一個輔音字母結尾的,要雙寫這個輔音字母再加“er”。

    (5)將五張單詞卡放在一起請學生認讀。男女比賽誰讀錯或不會讀將扣去相應男女組的分數(shù)。

    (6)完成Let's play.

    2、Consolidation and extension

    (1)做本單元A Let's learn部分的活動手冊配套練習。

    (2)抄寫所學的四會詞組,一個抄兩行。
